Mediaweek 100 Luncheon: Celebrating Excellence in Media.

On Friday, November 22nd, Mediaweek hosted its third MW100 luncheon at Crown Sydney’s Pearl Ballroom, celebrating the achievements of Australia’s media leaders.

This year’s Mediaweek 100 list was topped by Michael Miller, Executive Chairman of News Corp Australia, while Aimee Buchanan, CEO of GroupM Australia, claimed the number one spot on the Agency 50 list for the second year in a row. The event also introduced the Variety Australia Entertainment 50, honouring those shaping content creation, with Ludo Studio’s Charlie Aspinwall and Daley Pearson taking the inaugural top spot for their work on Bluey.

Comedian Michael Hing entertained the crowd, and Mark Coad, CEO of IPG Mediabrands Australia, inducted Lou Barrett of News Corp Australia as the newest Mediaweek Icon, praising her industry reputation and no-nonsense approach.
