Mediaweek’s Next of The Best Awards Night.

On Thursday, 13th June, more than 300 attendees gathered to celebrate Mediaweek’s Next of The Best Awards ceremony, held at the stunning Ivy Ballroom. The event recognises and celebrates the rising stars of the advertising, media and marketing industry.

Mediaweek Managing Director and Publisher, Trent Thomas welcomed guests before passing the mic over to KIISFM’s Mitch Churi, the evening’s MC for the second year running. The awards presentation was then followed by an electrifying performance by drag artist Renee Saunts (aka News Corp sales manager Enrico Resuta).

ThinkNewsBrands CEO, Vanessa Lyons had the honour of presenting awards to the outstanding winners in the below categories, including the newly introduced, ThinkNewsBrands sponsored category – Best use of News Publishing. This campaign-based award provided media agencies, creative agencies, brands/advertisers and publishers a platform to showcase and reward the tremendous campaigns in news publishing from the past 12 months.
